With a long standing association with auctions and livestock markets in East Yorkshire and further afield we continue to offer this traditional and competitive approach to selling always intent on maximising value for our clients.

We operate the only remaining livestock market in East Yorkshire from our livestock market at Dunswell between Beverley and Hull selling prime and store stock. With fat and cull sheep and pigs every Monday starting at 10.30am and store cattle, sheep and pigs fortnightly. With 3 experienced auctioneers, mobile office and dedicated office team we can advise you on your sale and will set up, undertake and sell your goods for you after full marketing. If you have a small number of items to sell one of our regular collective sales either monthly at the Cattle Market or one of our 5 sales a year at our sale ground at Winestead will be able to accommodate you. Hull Livestock Market – 3rd November 2025 – Fatstock Market

Forward – 70 head of stock including, 21 Sheep and 49 Pigs

PIGS
An increase in sows this week with a good half a dozen heavy gilts forward. Prices remaining at what has become common place over the last few weeks. However, demand remaining from buyers and more can always be sold.

Heavy Gilts to 98p/kg and £145.70, average 85p/kg.

Cull Sows to 43p/kg and £223.85, average 41.1p/kg.

SHEEP
Small show of lambs in terms of numbers again on the fat market but mainly heavy lambs on offer with a pen or two of longer keep store lambs thrown in as well. Trade was straight today; however, sheep are easier to market on the store market weeks.

Prime Lambs
Heavies to 301p/kg and £149, average 298.2p/kg
Overweights to 294p/kg and £162, average 289.3p/kg.
Overall average 292p/kg

Store Lambs to £94, average £84.80.

Cull Ewe to £108.
