With a long standing association with auctions and livestock markets in East Yorkshire and further afield we continue to offer this traditional and competitive approach to selling always intent on maximising value for our clients.

We operate the only remaining livestock market in East Yorkshire from our livestock market at Dunswell between Beverley and Hull selling prime and store stock. With fat and cull sheep and pigs every Monday starting at 10.30am and store cattle, sheep and pigs fortnightly. With 3 experienced auctioneers, mobile office and dedicated office team we can advise you on your sale and will set up, undertake and sell your goods for you after full marketing. If you have a small number of items to sell one of our regular collective sales either monthly at the Cattle Market or one of our 5 sales a year at our sale ground at Winestead will be able to accommodate you. Hull Livestock Market – 28th September 2026 – Fatstock Market

Forward – 39 head of stock including 11 Sheep and 28 Pigs.

PIGS
A smaller showing of pigs yesterday, with cull sows forward only. Trade near identical to last week’s market, selling to an average of 22p/kg.

Cull Sows to 24p/kg and £74.88, average 22p/kg.

SHEEP
A couple of pens of fat lambs forward this week, selling to decent trade. Vendors please be aware sheep are easier to market of store market weeks.

Spring Lambs
Mediums to 310p/kg and £141.
Heavies to 333p/kg and £158.

SQQ 310p/kg.
Overall Average 320.5p/kg

All pigs and cull sows must be SLAP MARKED with the holding of departure’s slap mark. Ear tags are not acceptable.
