With a long standing association with auctions and livestock markets in East Yorkshire and further afield we continue to offer this traditional and competitive approach to selling always intent on maximising value for our clients.

We operate the only remaining livestock market in East Yorkshire from our livestock market at Dunswell between Beverley and Hull selling prime and store stock. With fat and cull sheep and pigs every Monday starting at 10.30am and store cattle, sheep and pigs fortnightly. With 3 experienced auctioneers, mobile office and dedicated office team we can advise you on your sale and will set up, undertake and sell your goods for you after full marketing. If you have a small number of items to sell one of our regular collective sales either monthly at the Cattle Market or one of our 5 sales a year at our sale ground at Winestead will be able to accommodate you. Hull Livestock Market – 20th April 2026 – Fatstock Market with Special Dispersal Sale of Suckler Cows & Calves on behalf of L Scott, Seaton

Forward – 104 head of stock including 36 Cows and Calves, 6 Breeding Cows, 2 Feeding Cows, 1 Stock Bull, 1 Store Heifer and 21 Pigs

PIGS
A smaller showing of pigs through the market this week. Sow trade back slightly to what has been seen over the last few weeks. Top price realised by a 317kg sow from Foster Farms, Brigham selling for £113.90 to Cheale Meats, Essex.

Heavy Gilt to 93p/kg and £130.20.
Cull Sows to 35p/kg and £113.90, average 33.3p/kg.

CATTLE
The first half of a special dispersal sale of a Suckler Herd of Cows & Calves on behalf of L Scott, Seaton yesterday with a fantastic turnout and a trade to match on what was a good show of cattle, with a number of entries also being made by other vendors. Trade buoyant throughout the sale for what was a show of good cattle, but well and truly in their working clothes having been houses since the autumn and remaining so for the further entries from other vendors, with vendors going home happy from the start to end of the sale. Buyers please be aware that the second half of the dispersal sale will take place from 12pm on 04/05/2026 with the mainly younger, fresher cows than those forward today.

Cows & Calves to £3,750 for an 5 year old Beef Shorthorn with twin 8 month Limousin Heifers at foot from L Scott, Seaton, to average £2,768.
£3,520 Limousin cow 7yo with a Limousin steer 7 months – L Scott, Seaton.
£3,350 Limousin cow 12yo with a Limousin heifer 10 months – L Scott, Seaton.
£3,350 Simmental cow 7yo with a Limousin heifer 6 months – L Scott, Seaton.

Breeding Cows to £1,800 for an 8-year-old Limousin from L Scott, Seaton, to average £1,738.

Pedigree Limousin Stock Bull, Gunnerfleet Orbit, to £3,000 from L Scott, Seaton.

24-month-old Limousin Heifer to £2,090 from Turner Bros, Immingham

Continental Feeding Cows to £2,100 for a 15-year-old Charolais from Turner Bros, Immingham, to average £1,940.
