A Belgian Blue Steer exhibited by HS & M Everatt of Barmby Marsh won the Cattle Championship and was awarded the Beverley Corporation Trophy by the Judge T Laverack of Holme on Spalding Moor.Purchased by A Laverack & Son Butchers of Holme on Spalding Moor & Pocklington, and sold for £2.72 per kilo, weight being 605kg
Reserve Champion was a British Blue X Heifer shown by J L White & Son of Eastrington and sold for £2.40 per kilo, weight being 620kg, purchased by A Laverack & Son Butchers of Holme on Spalding Moor & Pocklington.
The Hodgson Family Trophy for the Champion pen of pigs, was presented to JD, BK, JM Fell of Great Hatfield. Judged by A Rawson of R & S Butchers Hull Their pen of 5 pigs later purchased by A Laverack & Son Butchers of Holme on Spalding Moor & Pocklington for £1.20 pence per kilo weight being 444kg
The Dennis Dunn Trophy for Reserve Champion Pen of Pigs being a pen of 5 pigs exhibited by RH & M Robson & Son of Preston, Purchased by R Featherston Butchers of Howden for £1.38 pence per kilo, weight 506kg.
The Champion Pen of Sheep exhibited by N B Harland of Alkborough, Judged by R Featherstone Butcher of Howden received the Beverley & District Chamber & Trade Trophy. The pen was sold to R Featherstone Butcher of Howden at £136 per head.
Reserve Champion of Sheep awarded The Barnett Footwear Trophy were exhibited by N R Wild of North Newbald selling at £98 per head to Propa Meats of Roos.
