THE CATTLE MARKET
Hull Livestock Market – 13th September 2021 – Fatstock Market
Forward – 190 head of stock including 46 Sheep and 144 Pigs.
The issues in the supply chain have caught up with us this week, with pigs taking a hit, butchers and processors have consistently been taking more pigs than they wanted recently with extra pigs coming in from deadweight farms that have been held back, and this week the demand has dropped somewhat as a few try to clear out. Hopefully this will rectify itself by next week and we should see prices back up towards where they should be.
